  1. Power-QWK Pick Lists in Version 2.00

  4. A Pick List is a list maintained by Power-QWK of items that you
  5. use a lot. This enables you to select an item from, say, a list
  6. of peoples' names without having to type it and therefore without
  7. the risk of mis-spelling.

  9. At release 2.00, Power-QWK maintains only one Pick List - the
  10. ToName Pick List.

  12. Every time you send a message, Power-QWK notes the name of the
  13. addressee and uses it to update a list of the twenty people you
  14. write to the most.

  16. Whenever you are prompted by Power-QWK to supply the addressee's
  17. name for a message you have entered, you can instead press F2 to
  18. be presented with the current ToName Pick List.

  20. This facility is available for 'carbon copies' as well as for
  21. 'proper' messages.

  23. There is in fact one other Pick List but you may not realise that
  24. it is one. This is the Conference Pick List. Whenever Power-QWK
  25. needs you to enter a conference name, it offers you the Conference
  26. Pick List from which to choose one.

  28. The ToName Pick List is not offered automatically because it could
  29. be a source of annoyance to those users who do not write often to
  30. the same people. The Conference Pick List is offered automatically
  31. because it is a COMPLETE list - you have no choice but to enter
  32. one of its constituent names.
